Rohmer-Recorders Help Page

The Rohmer-Recorders website is a multimedia presentation based on Flash and JavaScript. It is therefore important that these components are both activated in your browser.
For viewers who do not have these components installed or activated, a reduced version of the Rohmer-Recorders website on a simple Html basis is available.

Have you been redirected to the reduced version, but would like to see the full version? Then perhaps the following tips can help you. (They apply to Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 or higher and Netscape Navigator 5 or higher.)



1. How do I install the Flash 5 plugin (or higher) for my Browser?

The Flash plugin (or Flash player) is a Macromedia product and can be downloaded gratis from the firm’s website.
Click on the link given below to get straight to the Macromedia download area. Download and installation are easy to carry out; the installer takes you through it step by step. It is worth doing!

2. How do I activate JavaScript and plugins in my Browser?

Go to the menu bar of your browser and select the following settings:

Internet Explorer (Windows): Extras>Internet options>Security: select “standard level, medium”
Internet Explorer (Mac): Edit>Options>Web content: activate "Scripting" und "Plugins".
Netscape Navigator: Processing>Settings>Extended: tick control box "Activate JavaScript".

Now reload the Rohmer-Recorders Start page (if necessary restart the browser) so that the changes can be implemented.



3. I get redirected although the Flash 5 plugin is installed!
I don’t get redirected, I just get a blank page!
In both cases the correct Flash plugin is installed, but your plugin settings are wrong. Activate the plugins as shown under 2.



4. If you have an old browser, we recommend you to go into the Internet and upgrade it gratis to the latest version, which will provide you with all the necessary settings and plugins. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that the Rohmer-Recorders website will work with an old browser.
